Loving and caring for others can and does flourish without the need for God. The typical theological mind can't seem to grasp this concept for some reason. In the words of Hitchens, "Name one moral act that can be performed by a believer that could not be performed by a nonbeliever."

Circumcision is nothing more than genital mutilation stemming from silly religious beliefs. I hope as time goes on that more and more people will abandon the practice.

It seems only slightly probable that we will get 60, but I expect we may get 57-59.

Obama still seems to be maintaining a lead in the polls, so I am cautiously optimistic. I think it will be tight though in the end.

It will if he wins. Obama is the one who can truly unite this country.

Probably not too likely because everything McCain has thrown at Obama lately has come across as being pathetic and desperate.
